Welcome to Kattelus Farm!
Kattelus Farm is located in Karjalohja, western Uusimaa, just an hour’s drive from Helsinki. The farm combines organic farming with rural tourism. During the summer, the farm is home to many farm animals, bringing joy to our guests and the farm family alike.
Kattelus Farm offers a wide range of experiences for its guests. For those looking for accommodation, there are three uniquely styled cottages on the shore of Lake Syväjärvi. The farm also rents out two charming event venues set in historic buildings, as well as a cosy greenhouse, which are ideal for family celebrations and special occasions. Guests can relax in a traditional smoke sauna or a smaller lakeside sauna. Groups and visitors interested in gardens or local history can enjoy memorable moments in the sensory garden and the farm museum.
Event venues
At Kattelus Farm, three unique venues are available for celebrations: the intimate Granary Restaurant, the spacious Stable Restaurant, and a charming greenhouse. All venues are located within the farmyard, where a wide variety of animals, such as sheep, chickens and rabbits, live during the summer months. Please note that the venues are closed during the winter season.
Cottages
Kattelus Farm offers two fully equipped holiday cottages for travellers, as well as a lakeside sauna building that also serves as accommodation. Each cottage enjoys its own privacy by the water. During your stay, you can explore life and activities at the farm, hike in the surrounding forests, pick berries and mushrooms, go fishing, and simply unwind in the heart of the countryside.
Mustakallio

Saunas
The saunas at Kattelus Farm are located on the shore of Lake Syväjärvi. The spacious smoke sauna accommodates up to 20 guests, and its terrace features a hot tub. The cosy lakeside sauna offers a gentle, soothing experience for up to five people.
Sensory garden
Kattelus Farm’s sensory garden offers a unique experience for garden and nature enthusiasts. On the south-facing slope, century-old apple trees and berry bushes grow alongside gently wild perennial areas. At the heart of the garden, you’ll find the “Bookworm’s Nook”, a greenhouse where visitors can enjoy both plants and a selection of books. A sensory path winding through the garden invites guests to engage all their senses and unwind in the present moment.
