Founded in 1649 in the former municipality of Pohja (now part of Raseborg), Fiskars Village is an ironworks with deep roots. Today, it has transformed into a vibrant center for Finnish art and design. Home to about 600 residents, the village is a favorite hub for artists, craftspeople, and designers. While it is a bustling tourist destination in the summer, Fiskars offers plenty to see and do year-round, including exhibitions, workshops, boutiques, and high-quality hotel and restaurant services.

Located in Raseborg, Mustio Manor was built between 1783 and 1792. It is a significant historical estate and stands as the largest non-ecclesiastical wooden building in Finland. The architecture represents a blend of Neoclassical and Rococo styles. Today, it serves as a popular museum, hotel, and restaurant, all surrounded by a stunning English-style park.

Billnäs Ironworks is a historical cultural site in Raseborg with a storied past stretching back nearly 400 years. Once a thriving center of the iron industry, it has evolved into an idyllic village admired by travelers. History remains a powerful presence here; the oldest residential and utility buildings date back to the 1700s, and the ancient tradition of craftsmanship lives on. The village is home to various entrepreneurs serving both locals and visitors alike.

Karjalohja is recognized as a nationally significant cultural landscape. Along its historic main road, visitors can explore the stone church completed in 1860, enjoy the unique atmosphere and refreshments at the iconic Unkan Baari, or relax at the Lohja Spa water park. During the summer, the Seurojentalo yard hosts a lively summer market every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Karjalohja is also home to one of Finland’s few Bison Farms, which is open to visitors.
